Leadership of the HOA is comprised of a 5 member Board of Directors, who must be homeowners. The 2012 Board was elected on January 12, please see the Board page for details. There are also several committees made up of homeowners who oversee various facets of the community, such as architectural review, recreation, landscaping, and news. Information, news and contacts pertaining to these groups can be found using the links on the left menu.

Day-to-day management of our community is overseen by Willamette Community Management, with its representatives Dave Stubbs and Kurt Powell. Contact information for them can be found on the right side of this page. HOA bills and written correspondence should be addressed to the Grand Oaks Summit Association, headquartered at the Clubhouse (see sidebar).

The first houses in our community were built in 1999 by Pahlisch Homes. In 2002, Legend Homes took over the development, and the final phase of construction was completed in 2006.

Grand Oaks residents enjoy the use of a clubhouse with reception and exercise rooms, an outdoor swimming facility with big pool, wading pool and hot spa, numerous walking paths and welcoming landscaping and greenspaces. Additionally, a park was constructed in our neighborhood and is maintained by the City of Corvallis.

Grand Oaks is located in SW Corvallis, approximately 12 minutes from downtown. We are located off of West Hills Drive, which is accessed from SW 53rd Street south of the Benton County Fairgrounds and Bald Hill Park. The neighborhood is conveniently located near a new shopping area including a grocery store, several restaurants, coffee shops, professional offices and Bi-Mart. Oregon State University, the Sunset Research Park, and the town of Philomath are minutes away. CH2MHill, Good Samaritan Hospital and Hewlett-Packard are all within about a 10-15 minute drive.

Our children are boundaried to, and transportation is provided to, Adams Elementary School, Linus Pauling Middle School and Corvallis High. The Corvallis School District has a liberal transfer policy which many times enables students to take advantage of specialized programs the districts offers at schools outside of students' home boundaries. We are also conveniently located near several private K-8 schools, including the Ashbrook Independent School.
